Explanations
Qeshm is an island situated in south coast of Iran and east of the Persian Gulf. It is Famous for its wide range of ecotourism attractions such as the Hera mangrove forest. According to environmentalists, about 1.5% of the world birds and 25% of Iran’s native birds annually migrate to Hera forest which is the first national geo park. An ancient Portuguese Castle, historic mosques, various ponds and mangrove forest are among the tourism attractions in the island, which sits across the azure waters of the Persian Gulf. Several domes, salty caves, the preserved area in Shibderaz village where turtle hatch as well as numerous ports and wharfs are among these attractions. Hera Sea-Forest is a natural feature of tropical and subtropical forests and is one of the most beautiful attractions of Qeshm Island. For 7 years from 1999 to 2006, chez speleologists worked over caves in Qeshm, Hormoz and Lark salt vaults and explored the longest one with the length of 6 km and named it 3 Nahacu (local name is Namakdan). It has very amazing salt crystals.

Best Time: December up to March
Climate: Average temperature 22 to 31 degree Celsius, in summer reaches to 50 degree Celsius and in winter is not lower than 0 degree Celsius. The warmest months are June through August and the coldest from October to January. The average rainfall is 183.2 mm.
Group Size: 1-12
Hardness Degree: It doesn’t need technical equipments, but it needs strong body. Cavers have to float in saturated salt water and be patient about scratches on their bodies made by salt crystals.
Track: it’s a round way track which takes 36 hours
Needed Equipments: Overall caving suit, helmet, headlamp, elbow and knee-pads, water proof equipments
