Alpine Club of Iran
The Alpine Club of Iran (Anjoman Kuhnavardan Iran) is a non-govermmental and non-profit organization founded in 2000 representing Iranian mountaineering community.
Goals to acheive:
•Promote sport cooperation, and strengthen freindly relations between mountaineers.
•Study of mountaineering and mountains by establishing an information center, A Library, And through publications and meetings.
•Attempt to conserve the mountain Wilderness.
•Support mountaineers, Mountaineering clubs, and good-style mountaineering programs.
•Participations in mountain rescue activities.
According to the club’ s bylaws, it is directed by a seven-person board of directors who are elected for a period of two years in the ‘meeting of members’.
